I love the music of the Band and Bob Dylan. We have gone into the woods and visited BIG PINK, in awe of the creativity that was produced by GREATS-Levon Helm, Robbie Robinson, Rich Danko, Richard Hudson, and Richard Manuel. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE what you gave us all. Thank you.

LOVE hearing these songs again. Will probably wear out the CD soon and need a new one !! No finer band for me than The Band. This is 50 years old and still relevant. Thank you !!!

Given the limitations of the 4track originals this sounds really good. It seems that Levon's drums have a fuller sound and might be more prominent which is understandable given Bob's reputation for great drum sounds. The three out takes are quite good performances as well so that's a nice extra value. All in all it's an excellent example of how good these guys were playing and communicating as musicians early on.
